ℹ️ Pairing with External Sensor

GTZ10S | Sold separately or in a bundle

1. If the screen is off, press the knob once to wake up the display.

2. Double-press the knob and hold the second press for ~3 seconds until the pairing symbol appears.

3. Hold the sensor’s function button for 3 seconds.

4. A confirmation symbol will appear on the display indicating successful pairing.

*Long pressing the knob exits pairing mode.

ℹ️ ZigBee Protocol Basics

ZigBee operates on the reliable 2.4 GHz frequency band, ideal for building interiors.

It uses MESH networking – every ZigBee device with full power (L+N) acts as a signal repeater for others.

If a distant sensor cannot reach the ZigBee gateway directly, it connects via other ZigBee devices – ensuring a stable, reliable network.

ZigBee devices respond in 0.2 seconds, while Wi-Fi devices may take up to 5 seconds – a key advantage for smart automation.

Wi-Fi networks become unstable after around 25 devices ❌

ZigBee networks can easily handle over 50 devices ✔️

ZigBee gateways and devices also store extended history and data logs such as temperature or motion history.

Additionally, ZigBee communication consumes very little energy, ensuring long battery life.
