ℹ️ How does COB differ from SMD LED strips?

COB strips emit light differently than standard SMD LED strips – more evenly, smoothly, and brightly, with no visible gaps.

Traditional SMD strips show individual light dots, which can cause a dotted reflection on walls or furniture.

COB strips, on the other hand, feature a very dense arrangement of LEDs, producing smooth, uniform light that looks elegant and comfortable to the eyes. Perfect for lighting furniture, countertops, or interior decorations – anywhere you want a clean, continuous light effect.

They are ideal for use in LED channels or diffusers, especially when the strip is visible or the light is not reflected from a surface as with SMD strips.

Additionally, COB strips are more durable and generate less heat, ensuring longer lifespan and greater user comfort.
